Projects The “Agenda of the territories for conciliation” project, funded by the European project Equal, intends to bring down the difficulties of women and men in matching work committments with family duties.
It involves five provinces (Milano, Varese, Como, Brescia, Lecco), in order to plan large scale actions:
♦ The Provincial Forum for conciliation, an opportunity to exchange views between all the socio-economic actors in the territory (local bodies, National Health Service, unions, employers associations, trade unions, etc.), to discuss and plan interventions towards conciliation, finding solutions to conciliate different interests.
♦ Conciliation in the workplace, tools enabling the workers and the company to test “return to work programs”: skills assessments and workshops for mothers and fathers returning to work after a parental leave, but also awakening seminars for human resources managers.
♦ A Campaign to make aware of sharing housekeeping and family care. The short video “If we help each other at home, we live better” was made, designed by Osvaldo Cavandoli featuring the character “The Line”.
The project has been carried out, but we’ll propose again at Spazio Rosa the skills assessments and workshops, and we’ll further an agreement with all the social actors in order to make an institution of the Forum.
